A big thanks to David Holmes from Auto Illustrations for helping us out by developing our logo last season which reflects our international sphere with the “G” & “I” integral to the design.

Also, a big thank you to Raymond McHugh at Keywest for his continued support of the club.

Club History

The club was originally founded as a Mens Team known as Glasgow Irish.  They achieved the feat of being promoted from District League through to 1st Division in 4 successive seasons. They peaked finishing 2nd in the First Division. There were two mens’ teams, sadly, neither mens’ team compete any longer, but club legends such as John Carden and Tam Kerr still manage a monthly game at the Kelvin Hall.

The women joined the Club in 2000 having won the Glasgow District League in 1999.  Over recent years more nationalities have joined us and therefore we felt it appropriate to reflect this, we relaunched ourselves as GLASGOW INTERNATIONAL in 2009.

In season 2009/2010, the women had a very successful season, finishing as     2nd Division Champions

2010/2011 was a tough season, adjusting to the more powerful 1st division. Progress was made as we became more competitive over the season, but we now return to the 2nd division.
